Spot Reduction - Fact or Myth

Many people believe that exercising a specific area of the body will use the fat in that area - i.e. doing sit-ups to reduce belly fat. This is called spot reduction. However, this is a MYTH! Research suggests that spot reduction, even when localized, draws from almost all of the fat stores in the body, not just from local depots. So now you know!
